Discussion from today's meeting

  • NDSL Annual Survey for Schools – 2 reports were run and sent to each school to help filling out questions on new items in collections this year and circ stats for the year.

  • Two ends of the year reports for schools started. These reports are set up to help get material back at end of year. They will run each Monday after April 15th through end of May.

    • Report on current loans - sorted by patron name.

    • List of LOANED, LOST or MISSING - sorted by CIRC STATUS and then CALL NO. The purpose of this report is to help check shelves to see if items were returned but not checked in.

  • Reminder: Vega LX Starter is a way to customize certain email notices for your library AND minimize bounced emails due to the recipient’s email server security restrictions. The libraries using Vega LX have received positive feedback. To start, submit a ticket or reach out to lynn.wolf@ndus.edu and we will get you going. This involved a meeting to do a basic walkthrough to demo areas of LX, set up the basic configuration so you can “claim” your account, and get you started. The meeting takes 45-60 minutes and then you get a chance to play a bit and let us know if you have questions. There was a session during ODIN Workdays covering Vega LX -- https://www.odin.nodak.edu/events/odin-workdays/odin-polaris-workday-2026-vega-lx-starter-what-are-you-waiting
