It is time to upgrade PRODUCTION Polaris software as no feedback has been received from users after the TRN upgrade last month. Polaris PROD (PAC, LEAP, Simply Reports and Remote Client) will be upgraded on Tuesday, April 12th and will be unavailable during the upgrade. The upgrade will start around 7:30 am CST. Anyone logged in will be kicked out so please stay off the system until we send the “all clear.” Authentication for the databases will also be unavailable during that time.
Maintenance can take several hours (“done by noon”) but realistically we expect to have the system upgraded, verified and available for your use by mid-morning. Please watch for additional emails from ODIN Staff providing information. While waiting, please remind yourself of “what’s new in 7.1” – see attached.
For those libraries who wish to use offline circulation during this period, please verify it is installed on the PC used for circulation.
