Alma/Primo VE Planned Outage over Memorial Day Weekend

May 29 2021 | 6pm - May 30 2021 | 6pm

Ex Libris will be moving to a new data center over the Memorial Day weekend – May 29-30, 2021. A system downtime of up to 24 hours is expected beginning Saturday, May 29 6PM CT.

During that time, all Ex Libris services (Alma, Primo VE, Leganto, etc.) and other services that rely on those systems will be unavailable. This includes remote database authentication that uses local/internal Alma accounts (all Trinity patrons, clinical/external accounts at SMHS, “Community Patrons” at all institutions, etc.). All NDUS and Jamestown students and faculty that have active campus credentials will still have remote access to databases using either Authgate or the proxy servers.

We don’t expect there to be any additional actions that need to be taken by the libraries beyond communicating the outage to your patrons.
