- Request-Cancellation Reasons Now Customizable
- Demonstrated how to customize the list of request cancellation reasons in the drop-down list when cancelling requests like holds or resource-sharing requests. Text can be modified; options can be added (up to 10 new reasons) or removed to improve efficiency in workflow.
- User Statistical Categories as Parameters in Fulfillment-Unit Rules
- Demonstrated how to add statistical categories as parameters in Fulfillment Rules. Examples of adding categories would include populations who have special loan rules. This feature allows libraries to define patrons’ privileges for fulfillment services.
- Course Reserves – Search for Reading List by List ID
- Showed how to search using List ID. Two notes: if an error shows on the screen, make sure to clear the cache and restart Alma to ensure the changes are reflected; additionally, ensure the search information entered is the Reading List ID (ex. 4507351940005163). Using alternate information, like the list code (ex. ENGL 110), will cause an error.
