The search committee and I wanted to use this opportunity to provide you a status update on the ODIN Director post. I'm pleased to inform that Jason Bedsaul has accepted the role of Director of the Online Dakota Information Network (ODIN).
Jason joined the ODIN team in September 2018 as library systems/applications and web integrator and was promoted to the senior level in 2020. Jason has a Bachelor of Science degree in New Media/Web Design, a master’s in communication, both from North Dakota State University (NDSU), Fargo, ND and is currently working on his Ph.D. in communications at NDSU. Before joining CTS Jason was a web developer for NDSU Libraries. Prior to that he was the IT user services manager at North Dakota State College of Science, Wahpeton, ND, and the director of web services for Mayville State University, Mayville, ND. He starts his new position on Monday, October 2, 2023.
Jason offers a wealth of knowledge and skill, and I have no doubt that his leadership, new perspectives, and creative ideas will help guide ODIN both now and in the future.
Second, I wanted to take a minute to thank Nicole Murphy for her leadership and commitment while serving as our Interim Director. When we most needed stability and direction, you stepped up with assurance and tenacity in the face of difficulties and uncertainties.
