---Dear Primo Users,
We are pleased to share the highlights of Primo November 2023 release, which first rolled out starting to Primo cloud customers on October 22, and then four weeks later to customers with a local Primo installation.
What’s new in the November 2023 Release?
Enable Users to Filter or Expand Citation Trail Results
Previously, citation trail results were filtered only by availability, with this enhancement Primo VE provides the users option to expand the citation trail results and view citations also from CDI do not have access to full text. Users can use the “Expand My Results” within the Citation Trail in a similar experience as used in the main search page.
Improve Search Experience for No Results Found – a NERS Enhancement 
Primo provides option to expand search automatically beyond your library activation in case of No Results found. If enabled, when searching in CDI/Blended scope, search will be expanded automatically to include results with no full text, notifying the users on this auto-expanded mode with an option to turn it off.
Preserve the Formatting of Citations Copied from Primo– a NERS Enhancement
Previously the “Copy Citation to Clipboard” option used in the Citation Action didn’t preserve the original formatting while pasting the citation. Now you can paste the citation text and choose to keep its original formatting.

Dear Colleagues, There are some great new features that form part of the November 2023 Feature Release.. You can checkout the new features including FIFTEEN Idea Exchange items - in the November 2023 Alma Feature Release Highlights in the Ex Libris Knowledge Center. You can view the November What's New Videos and all the videos for all available releases on YouTube. You can also view them on the Knowledge Center. See the monthly release schedule from the Help button on the Persistent Menu bar in Alma, and also in the Knowledge Center. Our next feature release will be in February 2024. We will be sending out a Sneak Preview in mid-December.
