For over 40 years the University of North Dakota has sponsored the UND Writers Conference, which has brought internationally recognized novelists, poets and dramatists to North Dakota.  Conference presentations have been documented and preserved on film and video tape. 

The UND Chester Fritz Library and English Department are undertaking the digitization of the Conference video with the goal of providing streaming access to the Conference presentations over the Internet.  Work on the 2003 Writers Conference is complete and is available for viewing.  Click on the image to access the Library’s Writers Conference Collection.
